How a % becomes your actual weight
When a lift is prescribed as a % of your max, the app shows the real working weight in your units — from your 1RM, or an estimate if untested.
Programs prescribe strength work as a percentage of your max, like 70%x5. So you don't do math mid-set, the app shows the real working weight right under the movement, in your units (lb or kg).
Where the number comes from
- It's resolved from your 1RM on file for that lift.
- If you haven't tested that lift, the app estimates it from a related lift (structural-balance ratios) and marks it (est.).
- Dumbbell movements show a per-hand weight, like "≈ 45 lb each".
- With no 1RM on file and no way to estimate, the line simply doesn't appear — you'll still see the %.
Keep it accurate
The better your maxes, the better the weights. Keep them current on PRs & Maxes.
An estimate is a safe starting point — log a true max for that lift to replace it with your real number.
