Using the grocery list & batch prep

Shop and cook from your generated week: an aisle-grouped grocery list you can check off, plus a batch-prep plan to cook once.

After you generate a full week (a Pro feature), two collapsible sections appear beneath "Your week" on Meals: "Grocery list" and "Batch prep". Both are built automatically from that plan. A free starter plan is a single sample day, so it doesn't produce them.

Grocery list

The grocery list rolls up every ingredient across the week, sums the amounts, and groups them by supermarket aisle so you can shop in order.

  1. Expand "Grocery list". The count beside it (for example "6/24") tracks how many items you've checked.
  2. Tick items off as you put them in the cart.
  3. Click "clear" to reset every checkmark at once.

Your checkmarks are saved in your browser and stay in sync across your open tabs, so you can keep the list open while you shop.

Batch prep

"Batch prep" answers what to cook ahead — the grocery list is what to buy, this is what to cook once for the week. Expand it to see each staple grouped by category, with the total amount to cook and a breakdown of which day and meal each portion feeds — for example "D1 Lunch" or "D3 Dinner", each with its amount.

Both sections track your current plan version. Starting a new version — by regenerating your week, recalibrating, or swapping a meal — rebuilds them and gives you a fresh grocery list.
